Business Intelligence Analyst

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our growing Business Intelligence team.  

As the Business Intelligence Analyst, you will be responsible for reporting as well as developing and driving performance across the company through the innovative use of Power BI. You will be in charge of gathering and analysing key business metrics from various systems and data sources. Through reporting tools and dashboards, these metrics are integrated and disseminated to relevant stakeholders. You will also have the freedom to identify and implement process improvements.

What will you be doing?

• Create, develop, and maintain a range of reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI and Excel
• Translate business problems and user needs into a set of detailed requirements, to be used to create meaningful reports, dashboards, and process developments
• Work closely with management to implement and/or improve data capture processes to be used in reporting; continually adapting and developing reporting for improved efficiencies or improved clarity
• Troubleshoot data and Power BI issues which may affect reporting or data syncs
• Ad hoc analysis and project work

What will you bring?

• Experience working with data in spreadsheets, databases and/or systems
• Experience using Power BI (minimum 1 year)
• Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and data-handling functions
• Knowledge/understanding of data structures
• Ability to translate technical messaging to non-technical audiences
• Experience getting data via APIs (desirable, but not required)
• Experience using HubSpot (desirable, but not required)
