What you'll do

Work with colleagues across various disciplines to pull together holistic insights. Produce reliable, actionable insights through analytics: work as a self-starter and be actively curious about what numbers are telling us and how they can be actioned upon to improve our people plans

Technology Strategic Services

Our Technology Strategic Services team comes up with the strategy to smash the technology ambitions of our business. We’re made up of problem solvers and strategic thinkers, who influence the direction the business is headed by looking at the bigger picture. From developing super tight cyber security operations that protect our systems, to supporting our Group CTO through our Central Services Function, we manage and deliver large-scale, transformational programmes and make sure we’re always ahead of the game.

  • Able to summarise and visualise findings in a commercial focused and actionable way. Candidate should be able to articulate reasons for good and bad performance in segments of our base and what improvement actions could be taken
  • Oversee implementation with stakeholders, supporting and advising them throughout the process
  • Act as a subject matter expert to support execs, senior management and other users of people data, providing expert views on trends, forecasts and people centric issues advised by data
  • Efficiently visualise and present data-driven insights to the business, using the right techniques to decode complex data structures into consumable insight
  • Address ad-hoc analytics requests creatively while also taking into consideration, the efficiency, sustainability, and client self-service capability
  • Develop strong relationships with key senior stakeholders and act as a first point of contact for Insight and deeper analysis across all key areas of responsibility
  • Bring to the role a level of knowledge, expertise and industry practices that can be applied to Insight projects to ensure that users find real value in the service. Help shape the view in HR that People Insight is a best-in-class Centre of Excellence

What you'll bring

  • Experience in a data-rich environment & advanced data manipulation in SQL/SAS/Python and/or flair for programming
  • Hands-on experience (minimum of working knowledge) of segmentation techniques and predictive algorithms with good understanding of Insight & Decision Science methodologies, specifically strong expertise of advanced analytics techniques
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint with experience of visualisation tools such as Tableau
  • Knowledge or experience of working with Google Cloud Platforms products like BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Machine Leaning or similar cloud solutions (desirable)
  • · Strong multi-tasking abilities, flexibility, and patience in a fluid environment

Our Osterley Campus is a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Or you can hop on one of our free shuttle buses that run to and from Osterley, Gunnersbury, Ealing Broadway and South Ealing tube stations. There’s also plenty of bike shelters and showers.
